Hamburger stand causes controversy in Sotogrande

SAN ROQUE/Sotogrande (Agencies/YouTube movie by SotograndeDigital.com)A company obtained permission to install a hamburger stand in the private parking lot at Galerias Paniagua, in Sotogrande. The permission was signed by San Roque's then-Mayor Fernando Palma on June 9th, just a few days before he was ousted fom his post. When the stand was about to be delivered, the company found that the parking lot had been blocked by heavy machionery and the usual number of cars. The fee-paying members of the community are dead against the hamburger stand, which, they say, is unfair trading and will cause noise and disturbances throughout the summer. In this YouTube movie, the trailer bringing the stand is forced to leave and Miguel Preysler, a long time resident, explains why they object.
