MURCIA (Agencies) The Guardia Civil last week detained several councillors and members of staff at the Town Hall in Aledo, Murcia, as well as at the regional offices of the Murcia regional government, including those of Presidency and Health. The search and arrest operation, called Biblioteca, aimed at a network of town planning corruption that has allegedly taken place at a location called Librilla, with ramifications in the nearby town of Aledo. The GC aimed their search at files of between the years of 2003 to 2007, when the alleged corruption was taking place.
