LA LÍNEA / GIBRALTAR (Agencies) A police officer belonging to the Royal Gibraltar Police died early this morning in a traffic accident in La Línea that happened at about 1.30am. Identified only by his initials, nationality and age, S.A.T., Irish, 29, he was riding a Yamaha motorbike on the Ronda Norte, when he lost control and smashed into the barriers on his way to La Atunara. No other vehicle or persons were involved. Ambulance and police were only able to certify his demise when they arrived on the scene, but the duty judge did not order the removal of the body until 4am.
