JIMENA This is one of the village's oldest establishments. After a long period of rentals and closures, it is soon to be reopened by Jesús, the son of the man who opened it originally in the early 70s and was known by Jimena expats as The Frenchman (El Francés) because he had worked in France. The photo is of the bar as it used to be - notice the wonderful old wooden fridge! It is no longer there, except in our memories. (Check location on GoogleMaps)
