A statement issued this morning by the Guardia Civil tells of three people having been arrested on the beach near Algeciras while they were unloading 270 kilos of hashish. The GC spotted the boat coming in from the Strait and waited while the drugs were unloaded in hessian wrapping. The three -two from Algeciras, the other from Morrocco- have been placed at 'the court's disposition' together with the hashish and the boat, accused of 'a crime against the public health'.
