National Police sources confirm that a resident of the San Bernabé area (photo: EuropaSur) was kidnapped last weekend. Apparently, the man was shoved into the boot of his own car with his head covered. When the kidnappers arrived at where they were allegedly going to kill him, they realized they had made a mistake, and the man was released at the edge of a main road several hours later. During the kidnapping, the victim's partner was forcibly ejected from the car and was injured in the process. The attackers supposedly stopped the victim's car near a kiosk, the owner of which called the police after closing her metal shutters. The matter is under investigation.
