LOS BARRIOS (Agencies) Some municipal employees have received some of the back pay they are owed since September. Those with Cajasol accounts received the remaining part of their salaries for that month, having had only €1000, those holding accounts at other banks will probably get their money by tomorrow, Friday. They are still owed their salaries for October. The workers are on an indefinite strike, and some of them were fined recently for blocking access to the town hall and streets in the town. "We had been promised our September pay three weeks ago and we should have been paid for October by now," said a union spokesperson. "It's shameful that there are families struggling seriously now, even when at least one member is employed but not being paid," he added.
