LA LÍNEA (Agencies) One of La Línea's most traditional stores, the Romero jewelry workshop (photo: EuropaSur), was robbed at gunpoint last week, according to a National Police press release. Two men, David V. G., 25, and Jorge T. M., 38, who were arrested some distance away shortly after the incident, are accused of robbery with violence, illegal possession of a firearm and other crimes and are presently in custody 'at the disposal of the courts'. One of them allegedly held the shop owners at gunpoint, demanding money, while the other waited outside on a stolen motorbike. The alarm went off, so the two escaped without the booty.
