Men can't multi-task - nor can monkeys

Regular readers will know that our frequent referral to monkeys is no more than the need to have someone to blame when things go wrong around here. The fact is that there is only one person (some think he's a monkey anyway) at the keyboard. And, being a man, Prospero cannot multi-task. It is also true that he has been working on a highly complicated translation that has kept him awake at nights and away from the Pulse of things, for which he apologises. Today, despite the weather (which has nothing to do with anything except a patch of rust appearing where nobody can see it), he expects to be finished with the aforesaid translation and thus free to continue boring his readers...
