CADIZ A recent Trending Topic on Twitter was a video of a sexual encounter among minors, shot in the Cortadura beach area of the provincial capital, and eliminated when the girl involved in the film complained to police that she had not consented to it being uploaded to the social medium. The matter was investigated by the National Police and the person who uploaded it, also a minor, is now facing a Youth Court sentence, as are the three involved in the act that became public but has now been removed. Virginity auction goes viral, sold for €600,000

BRAZIL Student Catarina Migliorini, 20, put her virginity up for auction when she went public with her need to finance her medical studies in Argentina. Sex video councillor's mayor summoned to court

Councillor resigns after her erotic video appears on internet

TOLEDO (Agencies) Socialist Councillor Olvido Hormigos Carpio has resigned from the Council at the small village of Los Yébenes, in the province of Toledo. Her resignation was accepted this morning 'on personal grounds'. MADRID (El País) Police are appealing for potential victims to come forward after a woman reported being sexually abused by a dwarf posing as a shaman in Madrid. According to the police report, José Israel G. R.'s modus operandi was to approach women in the center of the capital and strike up a conversation. The young woman who filed the complaint said she was handed a newspaper by G. R. and after leafing through a few pages began to feel a loss of perception. She then gave G. R. her address. On arrival, she remembers sharing a drink with G. R. but nothing else. Police suspect that G. R. used scopolamine, a Jimson weed derivative with hallucinogenic properties, to sedate his victims. It is believed he had been operating since 2007 and that some of his victims may have been tourists. G. Sex toys can be dangerous in pregnancy

SPAIN One of Spain's several consumer organizations has warned that the use of sex toys by pregnant women can be dangerous to the foetus. This, says FACUA, applies particularly to those made with Phthalates, which are chemical additives used to increase flexibility that can cause malformation in male babies. The additives are also used in babies' bottles and dummies. The organization asked the Instituto Nacional de Consumo (INC, National Consumer Institute) and the Junta de Andalucía's Department of Health  to remove sex toys containing Phthalates from circulation. Alternatively, it is requesting that warning labels should be attached to the products, as they are to babies' products. FCAUA says that while adults may usually be safe from this composite, foetuses and newborns can be exposed to problems. The warning stems from a similar one in Denmark, which concluded that pregnant women or those who are breast feeding, should not abuse the use of sex toys made that include Phthalates. FACUA has also pointed out that the EU Ministers of Industry have agreed to permanently forbid the presence of six types of Phthalates in baby products.

Women do not use day after pill as contraceptive

SPAIN A study by the Spanish Contraceptive Society revealed last Thursday that women are not using the day after pill as a contraceptive, despite the fears of ultraCatholic organizations and the PP party, who objected vehemently against the pill being available over the counter. The society carried out a study, financed by the laboratory that makes the most-sold day after pill in Spain, among 5,800 women aged 14 to 50, 96.7% of whom had not given up their usual methods of contraception. And, significantly, 98.7% of them say they had never bought the pill to keep at home 'just in case'. However, 14.1% of women in their fertile years say they have bought the day after pill on occasions, 77.7% of whom say it was because they had been having problems with their usual methods. Indeed, 65.3% say that the problem was a condom breakage.

11-year old child in KGV sex and drug ordeal

GIBRALTAR (Panorama) It was revealed yesterday that an 11-year old child taken into care by the Social Services Agency ended up in an acute psychiatric adult ward at KGV where most patients are suffering from a range of serious psychiatric conditions. A Consultant Psychiatrist said the child was suffering from a conduct disorder - naughty behaviour, in lay terms - but not from mental illness. Besides, the hospital had a policy of not admitting under 16-year olds. So what was this vulnerable child doing there, apart from being arproached and made sexual proposals by a patient and kicked by another, and found in a bathroom with a patient who was half naked "and we suspect cannabis was being used." Woman charged with 'encouraging under age sex'

GIBRALTAR (GibChronicle) A 52-year old woman appeared in court yesterday accused of encouraging an underage sexual relationship involving a young teenage girl in her care. She was arrested on Tuesday and appeared before the Magistrates Court on Thursday after spending a night in police cells. The woman faces two counts of encouraging unlawful sexual intercourse with the girl, who is under the age of 16. The offences were said to have occurred between March and April, 2009, and December and February, 2010. The woman is also accused of assaulting two police officers on the day of her arrest.The judge ordered that the girl’s initials, which were including in the public charge sheet, be excluded from any media report.

Belgian Mayoress in Spanish sex scandal

NAVARRA/Olite  (Agencies) Ilse Uyttersprot, the Mayor of Aalst, Belgium, a member of the European People's party and a Catholic, has been filmed having sex in public on top of a castle tower in Spain. The video of Ilse Uyttersprot and her former partner was taken four years ago by a tourist visiting Olite Royal Palace but has only emerged online in recent days, unleashing uproar in Belgian media. The footage reportedly shows Ms Uyttersprot fornicating with her ex-boyfriend, a surgeon. Ms Uyttersprot took to her Twitter account on August 24 to admit the woman in the video was her.
