The Iberian Peninsula is warming up to 50% faster than the rest of the Northern Hemisphere and almost three times as fast as the rest of the globe, according to the World Climate Research Centre's Spanish chapter issued yesterday. The organization's report, titled Past, Present and Future, analyses the physical aspects of climate changes and their effect on the plane. It also predicts that by the end of the 21st century, the peninsula will have raised its temperature by 6ºC and have only half the rainfall it has at present.
