ALGECIRAS (Agencies) Regular users of parking facilities in Algeciras will not be surprised by the news that it costs them 21% more than it would to park in Cádiz. In fact, Algeciras drivers pay an average of €1.804 per hour against €1,49 in the provincial capital. Parking at the main train terminal in the Campo's largest town costs more (averaging €1.50 perhour) than at its equivalent in Cádiz as well as that at the airport in Jerez (€1.08). The cheapest parking in Algeciras is to be found at>
the above ground blue zone near the train terminal, with similar prices near the central Ingeniero Torroja market and Calle Doctor Patriarca Pérez Rodríguez.
However, parking underground near the market is the most expensive even though it is only open from 7am to 11pm from Monday to Saturday but is closed on Sundays and holidays.
Underground parking at the three underground facilities managed by Interparking Hispanis (Plaza Andalucía, Menéndez Tolosa and Sur Europa) charge the same fees, which average €1.96 per hour.
