JIMENA (Official Bulletin) A regular reader kindly keeps an eye out for foreign-looking names as they appear in the various official bulletins. This one comes from the Boletín Oficial de la Provincia (BOP) dated April 8. It turns out that the Council cannot find John Richard MacLashan or Mike Hobbs, to notify them of the need to legalize building work on the Cañada Real de Manilva. If you know either or both, please tell them that they, or a representative, need to visit the Town Hall in Jimena to sort matters out that could lead to a €60,000 fine. (We do try to keep an eye on these sort of notices in innumerable national and regional bulletins or on Town Hall notice boards, but it is notoriously difficult to do so unless you have nothing at all else to do, like breathe or eat. Or unless it's your work and you're getting paid for it.)
