LOS BARRIOS
Michel Arlt, 36, a German national, was arrested without incident on Wednesday in Los Barrios as he was leaving the La Alegría dog refuge he ran with his partner. Arlt had been on a European detention order issued by Germany in 2003 for allegedly buying 10 kilos of cocaine and other drugs. Police files linked him to the Berlin chapter of Hell's Angels, though it is said that he had been distanced from that organization for some time. His arrest could lead to 15 years' jail time in Germany. His partner a German-born Spanish woman, was not detained.
