Youth beaten up outside polo club

SOTOGRANDE (Agencies) An 18 year old man was taken to Puerta del Mar Hospital in Cádiz after being beaten up by a group of youths just outside the polo club.  The incident took place on Tuesday 17th at approximately 5am, although it was reported only last Monday. The aggresors, according to witnesses, were allegedly young people of 'high standing'. The victim, who had some ten bone fractures to his face on admission to hospital, had apparently tried to run away, as the Guardia Civil found blood marks some 100m from the entrance to the club. We have tried to find out more from sources at the polo club but to date have been unable to find anyone willing to talk about the incident. (Prospero note: We can't help wondering how quickly this matter has been hushed up, possibly by 'high standing' parents.)
