Arrested for buying stolen car parts

CASTELLAR (Agencies) Two people were arrested on Tuesday and are accused of receiving stolen goods, and of buying goods in the knowledge that they are stolen. A Guardia Civil patrol saw two men putting car parts into a van, which when they searched it, contained the doors, bumpers, hood, gear box, starter motor, water pump, airbag and tyres, for which they couldn't show any proof of purchase. On checking the series numbers on several items, it turned out they came from a Volkswagen Golf that had been reported as stolen from Manilva on September 13. The alleged perpetrators were arrested and are now 'at the disposal of the courts'.
