TARIFA (Agencies/Photo: EuropaSur) Tarifa's second vice-Mayor, Paola Moreno (right), visited the Minister for Development, José Blanco, and that of Culture, Ángeles González-Sinde, to formalise an agreement whereby the central government is to carry out work to restore and protect important stretches of the ancient walls of Tarifa. Total cost of the project is €543,796.96, of which Development will finance 75%. Minister Blanco said that these kind of things "not only help proytect our national heritage, but also help in terms of local developmet and employment."
