Crimestoppers wants our help: look out for this man on the Algeciras-Tangier ferry

ALGECIRAS (Agencies) Crimestoppers, the Northamptonshire police and the Spanish police authorities are seeking our help in detaining Anxiang Du, wanted for questioning in the murder of four members of the Ding family, the parents and two daughters aged 12 and 18, last April. The police suspect that the 53 year old may well be in the South of Spain or northern Morocco so the appeal for vigilance is aimed at users of the Algeciras-Tangier ferry, particularly during the summer crossing season (called Operación Paso del Estrecho), when passenger numbers multiply and it is easier for Anxiang Du to go unnoticed. Crimestoppers says that he should not be approached as he is considered very dangerous. There is a reward of up to £25,000 for information leading to his arrest. Operation Captura returns

SPAIN UK Crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers and the Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA) are once again closing in on Britain's most wanted who are believed to be on the run in Spain. Ten new appeals, which include some of the UK's most dangerous individuals, have been revealed today in Alicante, an area with a large British ex-patriate community and a potential hideout for fugitives on the run from British law enforcement. Operation Captura is the successful multi-agency campaign which identifies individuals on the run in Spain who are wanted by UK law enforcement agencies for serious crimes committed in the UK. Since the campaign launched in October 2006, there have been 50 appeals; 38 of whom have been arrested. Many of these are now serving lengthy prison sentences for their crimes which range from drug trafficking to sex crimes to murder.>

UK's 'Most Wanted' arrested in Calahonda bar

COSTA DEL SOL (Agencies) Dennis O'Brien, from Liverpool, is suspected of leading a gang which plotted to import £166 million of cocaine into the UK from Peru. The 62-year-old was found at a Costa del Sol bar on Saturday after a joint operation by the British Serious Organised Crime Agency (Soca) and Spanish police. He is one of the fugitives featured in Operation Captura - Crimestoppers' campaign to trace suspected British criminals who are on the run in Spain. Police caught up with O'Brien at the Trafalgar Bar, in Calahonda, a coastal town between Marbella and Fuengirola.>
